If you are currently unemployed, concerned about losing your job, or just plain looking for a new career opportunity, the Nutfield Networking Group may be the vehicle to help you get to where you want to go.

While each of us has a small, close-knit group of friends and acquaintances that may be helpful to us in a job search, alone, they may not be enough to uncover many of the new job opportunities within the local community, throughout the state, or even across our southern border down in Massachusetts.

That's where we come in…

We are a loose confederation of job seekers from Southern New Hampshire that pool our talents together to produce synergistic results in our effort to land exciting new jobs.

We are high tech, low tech, no tech … we are former individual contributors, supervisors, mid-level managers, directors, V.P.s … you name it! The thing that we now have in common is our willingness to learn from one another, and to help one another. And, of course, we also have our common enthusiasm to move on to the next, new, exciting challenge in our life.

Regardless of your field of interest, our networking group can help you connect with people, and share ideas, that will prove beneficial to your job search and your quality of life.

We invite you to join our group.

All we ask is that you come to our meetings armed with fresh, new, job search ideas, an awareness about hiring companies, your business contacts, and anything else that may prove helpful in our mutual effort to attack the job market. Obviously, we ask that you bring your desire to share this information with all of us. In return, we'll come equipped with our own ideas and information, and share them with you. Now, when you get over fifty people doing this on a regular basis..... that's synergy!

In essence, our story is about "people helping people".

During the first half of the meeting, we will try to bring in guest speakers from local companies, with expertise in various job search-related areas or motivational subject matter.

During the second half of the meeting we will break up into small groups and practice our 2-minute "Hey, this is who I am, and this is how I can help you!" "Elevator" speech. We critique business cards, resumes and, yes, we even practice our interviewing skills on one another. we will also share our awareness about new job opportunities and trade business contacts.

So, don't be shy!!!

But be forewarned … come to our meetings with your enthusiasm, your ideas, your company/business contact information, and your willingness to actively participate in the meetings.

Oh, and by the way, you'll get to meet a lot of neat people too!!!
